Following mounting concerns by parents in Houston about the sugar content in school breakfasts, decisive action needed to be taken. Therefore, Houston ISD felt compelled to look closely at the content and source of sugar in the breakfast items (Lengyel et al., 2015). In light of the prevailing circumstances, the organization resolved to publish an article geared toward expressing their viewpoint about the sugar content in their menus. They also intended to shed more light on the challenges they faced in the execution of their mandate as well as the efforts they were making to realize their goals.
