ASSIGNMENT: As you learned in this unit, a Rogerian argument is one that presents two sides of a debate and argues for a solution that will satisfy both sides. Given two articles presenting opposing sides of an issue (mandatory uniforms in schools), construct your own 2-3 page Rogerian argument essay in which you attempt to arrive at a workable solution or "middle ground."

Over the years, various transformations have been introduced in the educational center. Despite various changes, one of the transformations that have introduced a lot of interest is the one regarding the students wearing school uniforms. Various research shows the different ideas people have regarding this issue. For instance, Article 2, titled "School Dress Codes and Uniform Policies" by Wendell Anderson, published in 2002, highlights that the largest group supports the idea since it improves students' behavior and self-confidence and minimizes socio-economic levels. On the other hand, Article 2, titled “Dressing Diversity: Politics of Difference and the Case of School Uniforms” by Samantha Deane, published in 2015, emphasizes that the largest percentage are opposing the idea of students wearing school uniforms since it will interfere with their rights and will not solve the underlying issues. Since wearing students has benefits such as boosting students' confidence and behaviors, minimizing socio-economic levels and weaknesses such as violating the children's social rights through controlling them, the schools should give the children an option to choose whether they want to wear uniforms.
Having school uniforms usually help individuals to attain outstanding benefits. For example, school uniforms are an outstanding way to help tutors manage their students' behavior. For instance, most teachers and parents claim that school uniforms help restore classroom order. The main reason is the uniformity that the dress code brings will bring the perception that the children should follow what they will be told.
