Abstract
The focus of this paper is to elucidate the importance of health in terms of dental services and to assess how fluoride treatment works in the dental field. In the subsequent paragraphs, I will accurately and thoroughly discuss the pros and cons of this dental procedure with the support of primary and secondary sources that are peer-reviewed and known to be trusted literature. The research method will also be explained in order to give a clear outline of how this research has been done since every detail will be discussed on the basis of scientific research. A hypothesis is emphasized, and a definite conclusion is elucidated at the end of this paper. As a researcher, I give an assurance to my readers that my research and investigation are all based on factual, medical, dental, and scientific methodologies to give a correct analysis.
Introduction and Area of Professional Concern
The world of health is divided into various parts, but this research paper’s focal point centralizes on dental health. It is clear that we have to take care of our external body parts and see to it that we take in the proper amount of nutrients to prevent sickness or any form of the disease. This holds true in terms of dental health concerns because a toothache felt in the smallest teeth of our mouth can cause tidal waves of pain and even bring about a stoppage of daily activities. Prevention is a whole lot easier and better than cure. Hence, the ultimate purpose of this paper. According to Kaplan, J., Myohanen, L., & Taylor, E. (2011) that countries vary in their traditional approach to literature identification and dissemination when it involves topics on health and issues on this subject matter are critical in terms of future development. Based on Frank’s (2019) investigation that the element called fluoride is a healthy mineral that strengthens the structures of the teeth and prevents tartar or decay. The hypothesis is that Fluoride Treatment must be done on a consistent basis every 3 or 12 months, depending upon the status of one’s oral health.
Research Questions
A few of the questions involved in this paper are: What takes place in the process of a professional treatment via the use of fluoride? And does this process cost too much that prevents the poor population from having a regular dental check? Mostly, the elements used consist of rinse, gel, foam and are placed inside the mouth with the use of a swab, mouthwash, or a tray (Christine, 2019).
