For example, teaching of parts of speech in an intermediate level, one would not consider the mere identification of the word group but even the construction and syntax. This may basically involve analysis of normal conversations or popular songs. The language contexts used are chosen from what learners are likely to use. This is because language awareness involves the practical use of the language. It also needs to reflect on the practice learnt.
