Positively deviant performance refers to an approach where an individual engages in uncommon behaviors and becomes exceedingly successful because of those behaviors (Cameron, 2012). In modern organizations, most managers and leaders hold on to business traditions that would be described as usual. Consequently, most do not enjoy the benefits that are realized from engaging in positively deviant performance. There is one major way in which I can employ positive deviant behavior in my workplace.
