Are tools used to facilitate interactions? (e.g., cell phones) The caretakers showed affection towards the children, using the recorder cues to speak to them, bending over to their level. They were informal and also invited the children to express themselves. Cell phones, for instance, were not noticed to be used during this time because the program focuses on one-on-one communication. Are interactions characterized by coordination, conflict, or something else? The processes were mainly coordinated and encouraged by the interactions. Nurses ensured that group games and drawing competitions were conducted, which needed team spirit among the caregivers.
