1 Neoliberalism is an ideology that pushes for a more laissez-faire attitude towards the economy. Notably, it believes governments should prioritize non-spending and lesser restrictions to have a hugely dominant free market. Accordingly, this principle is also related to the ideologies of the current feminist movement due to the belief that differences in wages are a continuing sign of inequality between individuals.
