The author narrates how the Kings in ancient China tried to suppress Buddhism. Although Chinese people thought that Buddhism was a significant region, the emperors termed it as a cult and gave orders to subdue it. Emperor Gaozu stated that in the Han period, Buddhism spread to China rapidly, of which he tried to end the religion. However, his officials were not well versed, and therefore, they did not understand the orders issued by the king and the present and past crises. As a result, they were unable to implement the emperor's orders and rescue the Chinese community from the corruption instigated by the Buddhist religion.
