Fun home is a literary work of pictures and nonfiction authored by Alison Bechdel. The author tells how she ended up becoming a lesbian. Also, she narrates about the suppressed bisexuality of her father, and the association between her and her father. During childhood, Alison intuited that something was wrong with her father. Although most of the activities performed by her father were reasonable, such as rebuilding their first house, other things were feminine such as loving lace curtains and floral patterns. Allison adopted male attitudes when she was a child. For example, she preferred wearing sneakers to a wedding function, and was never close to her father because of his impatient, punitive nature, and always involving the children in the activities of restoring their house.
