”A few days ago, I watched a YouTube video from the channel Beyond Science which was entitled “Modern SAMURAI Can Cut Speeding BULLET in Half!”. It showcased the skills of Isao Machii, a modern samurai who had amazing skills when it comes to wielding the katana. He can literally cut bullets from a 9mm BB gun with ease and he can cut speeding projectiles with speed and precision. He also holds many world records related to his art.
Watching this man with super human skill perform amazing feats has opened my mind into a new perspective of human potential. It is very shocking and hard to believe that such a man with very honed skills can exist but here he is, famous and ever ready to demonstrate his abilities not to prove himself to the skeptics, but simply because he can, and he loves doing what he does.
In the video, Isao was shown cutting many different things such as Soccer balls, fruits, tatami rolls identical to the density and hardness of human flesh, BB gun Bullets and various other things. Cutting these things with a katana is no easy feat, as it would require proper sword handing skills, precision, and supreme amounts of concentration and super-human reaction time. According to Machii, he uses his intuition rather that physical body coordination.
