Getting a college degree is one of the lifetime achievements for a majority of young people in the U.S. However, this achievement does not come easily given the costs involved. Given that postsecondary education has become critical in securing manful employment, young people are forced to attend college, despite the increasing costs. There is a need to make college more affordable, to enable learners from low-income families to attend college.
It is critical to ensure that education caters to the needs of all students, regardless of their barriers. All learners deserve equal opportunities to attain a college degree. Unfortunately, students from low-income backgrounds find it expensive to achieve their education dream.
