Personal Values and Their Impact on Leadership Student’s Name Institution Course Professor Date Introduction Every individual is unique and has their leadership preferences. Ethics are vital to organizational leadership and must be approached with care. Ethical decision-making impacts the individual leaders, organization, stockholders, and stakeholders. Personal values determine whether one acts ethically and responsibly. Every leader in an organization and every employee should be aware of their values to coexist harmoniously. This paper will review my Personal Values Test (PVT) results, conduct a personal reflection, and discuss their impact on a good leader. Three Most Important Values Among the five values identified, Certainty, Intelligence, and Contribution are the most significant. Certainty provides stability and predictability by making people secure in their environment. The safety this value promotes is key in my personal and professional life because it reduces distractions. Second, intelligence is needed for logical thinking and quick learning abilities (Obeidat & Saleh, 2022). It not only enhances problem-solving but also supports adaptability in dynamic situations. It provides a way to combine facts and draw logical conclusions for people who value growth and effective decision-making. Finally, the contribution is connected with the desire to help others fulfill common goals (Personal Values Test, n.d.). This value reinforces my purpose and community connection.
