Dramatic irony is seen in the novel in several different ways in the book. Taking an example in the story, we look at Fortunato who have been celebrating his carnivore in a jester costume. The comedian is also known as a fool. Having the right dress when a man gets lied so many times, and many of the readers decide to watch and see what will happen to him. Fortunato presents the dramatic irony where the user takes his costume as a symbol of nature but n his eyes Fortunato see the suit as just a small dress. He also believes that Montresor can do no harm to him and this brings about pride and incapability to recognize any danger.
