Though everyone has a different definition on Humanism, humanism can simply be described as a philosophical idea that emphasizes on the worth and dignity of an individual. The term is often used to describe a cultural and literary movement that spread among many cities in the fourteenth and fifteenth century’s. The movement involved the revival of the studies of the ancient Greek and Latin authors and trying to decipher what they actuary meant. This time within which humanism developed and grew is called the renaissance period, this meant rebirth. The idea of humanism expressed confidence in the ability of humanity to exact some control over nature or shape the society followings its needs and desires.
