Choosing to join college is not an easy decision to come up with, especially when a student does not have enough motivating factors. I had a difficult time deciding on what I would do after my high school life. Hence, my decision to join college was based on my cumulative GPA, my urge to focus on my career path, and the various stories that I had heard about college life.
After my final exams, my GPA prompted me the opportunity to join college. I had always wanted to have my own money, and my parents constantly reminded me that this could only be achieved if I put a lot of efforts in my studies. As a result, I would be able to join a good college, pursue a course of my choice, an, in turn, get a well-paying job. The idea of having a family that I could adequately provide for kept on motivating me into wanting to join college. I could see my parents struggle with finances at times and definitely, that was not the kind of life that I wished to live in the future. Therefore, it is through such inspiration that I was able to work hard during my high school years to ensure that I could join one of the best colleges.
In addition, I had heard many stories regarding different career paths, and I thought that it would be nice if I challenged myself to be a part of those stories.
