The author of Harlem, Hughes Langston questions whether a deferred dream dries up, festers, stinks like rotten meat, crusts or sags. A deferred dream is that dream which has not been achieved: a delayed dream in achievement or accomplishment. I have a deferred dream. Just like Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream to see the blacks liberated and racism eradicated from the United States of America, I have a deferred dream, a dream to see the less privileged access resources and justice like their wealthy and fortunate counterparts. However, in many nations, this is still a deferred dream. It has not been achieved and many less privileged people are subjected to adverse treatment with minimal access to resources.
