I remember my first day in America like it was yesterday! I traveled to the US when I was about 10 years old. I was quite excited and curious because I knew I was going to meet new and different people from different cultures. This was also my first flight so anybody who saw my face could tell how elated I was. In this short essay, I elucidate about my first day in America.
The plane finally landed and my favorite aunt came to pick me from the airport. She had stayed in New York for more than 10 years, so she as well-accustomed to the American culture. I had traveled for over 20 hours without a layover on the way so, despite my excitement, I was pretty much exhausted and ravenously hungry. She took me to this fancy restaurant near the airport where I even had time to refresh myself.
