Feedback on Kaelyn O'Conell's Elevator Speech
One valuable skill you will learn in this course is how to give constructive feedback. While everyone will get comprehensive feedback on their various speeches from the professor, it is important to be able to give feedback to each other as well. Developing your competence in providing feedback is a valuable communication skill, even if it seems a little awkward in the beginning.
Let your two classmates know in separate posts in their threads what you liked about how they delivered their speech and what suggestions you have for improvement. Include two things you think they did well and two that they can work on for their next speech. Delivery includes both verbal and nonverbal elements, so it would be helpful to comment on both. Include specifics, and don't be shy about making suggestions—it's the best way to learn.
