Overcoming alcohol addiction is a gradual process that requires consistency and a lot of discipline. During my recovery journey, I experienced an emotional relapse. During this phase, I was emotionally distracted, and I could not focus. I would lock myself up and isolate myself from my peers and friends. With time I cut connections with my family and friends and became distant from people who cared about me. It was frustrating because I was felt exhausted, had frequent e nightmares, insomnia.
