This relates to the search for the purpose, which raises one of the most profound questions we can ask ourselves: is life worth living, or is it merely an absurd joke? One must emphasize how this question is answered about the lifestyle one adopts. While Mencken understands that the absence of purpose in life is possible and reasonable, existentially oriented thinkers affirm the effort to find purpose and to constantly reestablish it through explorations (Phillips & Brown, 1991, p. 21). The biblical worldview also presents an approach that is specific to define the meaning and the goals of the educational process and the impact thereof on the teaching-learning process, students' engagement, and discipline. Biblical Worldview Basis for Reality God's existence is the foundation of reality in a biblical framework. From this viewpoint, the world and everything in it belong to God, who created the universe. As stated in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (New International Version Bible). The whole creation is regarded as His creation and, therefore, as the objectification of His intent. This belief means that everything in the physical dimension is planned and ordered by the deities, and everything that happens there is according to the order that the deities put in place. Basis for Truth Scientifically, truth in the Biblical worldview is conclusive since the nature or character of God defines it. The Bible is considered the divine revelation that prevents people from wandering in the darkness of life and gives them a key to openness (Phillips, n.d.). The historical Jesus Himself put up the strongest argument against relativism when evident in John 14:6, it was stated that “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (New International Version Bible). This asserts that truth is indeed objectively found in the revelation of God. Within the Christian life, living truthfully involves practicing neighbor love, which entails storytelling and physical actions, and the eucharist, which embodies storied truthing (Wynn, 2021). Values for Life Decisions Religious perspective shapes the basis of life choices by integrating values like providing significance on human dignity, compassion, and love (Perkins, 2021). These values are Biblical and Christ-like, coming from some understanding of God's word and Jesus's teachings. It directs people to make correct moral decisions while respecting the values of how God created people and writing a Christ-like life. Accordingly, the theory of storied identity connects these values to the profession's performance, illustrating how honesty is present in actions and is part of daily life experience (Wynn, 2021).
