"This is not the workof mortal hands or skillful art; my crafthas not saved you, Aeneas: here there isa greater one - a god- who sends you backto greater labors."Virgil, 1926 line 575-9
The author uses Homeric quote to acknowledge gods power. And according to him, god`s power supersedes the mortal hands. He therefore compares human works to that of the god`s in order to enable people see the omniscient and supernatural power associated with gods.
