Not many people stop to wonder where their bright colored clothes get that brilliant appeal from all the colorful combinations that they have access to. One of the answers to this is the availability and use of synthetic dyes. Human kind have a strong relationship with color for centuries, from the time they made drawings in the caves to this very day in a civilized society. Of important in the paper is the Induline dye. The Induline dye is one that takes on a bluish to reddish color and may in some of the cases take on a rather dark hue. This was among the first synthetic dyes that were discovered. It is a dye that can be attributed to Heinrich Caro. It is a rich dye that is commonly used cottons and woolen fabrics to bring out the popping colors associated with the fabrics. As a synthetic dye, it means that it can easily be produced. At the same time, manufacturers are able to bring out the exact colours tones that they want and at whatever quantities. This is a crucial element that is common especially in the commercial industry, as it helps with the sustainability of the production processes and the flexibility of the colours in question.

Azoic Dyes
The azoic dyes are synthetic, which means that they are not produced from the natural products. There are other dyes, referred to as the natural dyes, which came before the synthetics. These were produced from the natural dyestuffs such as roots and flowers. They would have some very complex changes when it came to the reproduction of the colors. Different batches of the dyes would come with different tones as it was had to produce the dyes with the ultimate precision for mass production. The Azo dyes on the hand are more commercial friendly in that they can easily be produced and the colours can easily be matched the specification of the manufacturer. As such, the quality of the dye is easy to control compared to the natural dyes. It is also crucial to note that most of the vivid colours such as the oranges and reds are formed of the Azo dyes. It is a dye that can be altered to give some of the brightest colours in the industry with some high level of reliability, especially used with fabrics such cotton and wool.
‘Azoic (naphthol) dyes are produced within the fiber of cellulose fibers. The fiber is impregnated with one component of the dye, followed by treatment with another component, thus forming the dye. When the two components are joined under suitable conditions (a low temperature water bath is employed) a large, insoluble, colored molecule forms within the fiber. Because the color is within the fiber, colorfastness is excellent.
