As a warden in prison, I will ensure that most resource distribution is projected towards the mental health assistance of prisoners. The majority of prisons are comprised of individuals with mental disorders. Besides, living conditions in prisons such as overcrowding, violence, lack of privacy, enforced solitude, inadequate health services, isolation from social belonging, and uncertainty of the future surrounding prisoners all contribute towards their negative effects on mental health. Most of these mental disorders may not be present to these individuals before their admission into prison but develop during their imprisonment periods.
