Police Patrol Strategies
Police patrol strategies are classified according to the type and nature of missions they assigned to undertake. The types of strategies to be used vary depending on the mission and location. The strategies have their advantages and disadvantages in specific circumstances. Hot-spot analysis patrols is one of the types of patrol strategies used by the police, and is primarily based on the police using clusters of previous high-crime areas to decide on the areas on which they focus their patrol.
