INTRODUCTION
Jane Austen's love novel Pride and Prejudice was initially published in three volumes in 1813. It centers on the tumultuous relationship between Elizabeth Bennet, a young man's daughter, and Fitzwilliam Darcy, a wealthy aristocracy property owner. It is a masterpiece of English literature crafted with incisive humor and excellent character differentiation. Pride and Prejudice are based in early nineteenth-century rural England and follow the Bennet household, consisting of five very separate sisters. In this part, we'll look at Elizabeth envisions what it would feel like to be mistress of Pemberley as Darcy's spouse as she visits the lovely estate with the Gardiners. Mrs. Reynolds, the housemaid, gives them photos of Darcy and Wickham and tells them that Darcy was "the nicest, most compassionate boy in the universe" when he was younger. She says that he is the kindest of rulers, which Elizabeth finds surprising for a man she finds unbearably rude. (Austen 1995)
