Vision for the Future of Nursing
Healthcare is one of the sectors that requests for attention from the government to be competent in providing affordable and high-quality care to its people by facing the challenges in this field. This is a dream that envisions the use of an evidence-based practice facility that can provide accessible healthcare to all patients. The requisite to realize this dream is for the healthcare system to devise remodeling strategies in the various aspects of its system. One of these aspects that needs attention is the nursing profession, which comprises the majority of the system.
Nursing unions and state organizations shall join forces to assess the state and develop a measure to amplify the nursing force in the healthcare sector. The nursing sector envisions a quality education for all nursing undergraduate and post-graduate students, increased and enhanced evidence-based training methods, improved staffing and healthcare worker occupational safety, and adamant leadership. This vision intends to address the said aspects in the hope of advocating the distinctive approaches for the further development of the nursing profession. This vision does not only aim to impact the current society, but it is also aimed at providing a program by which the future policy authors and government leaders can direct the progress of the nurses.
