The authors have analyzed and presented the characteristics of the population under the program. In this case they have looked at their economic abilities and their lifestyles. The economic abilities of the individuals have a direct impact on their lifestyle. Earlier studies on nutrition and lifestyle indicated that the upper-class had higher chances of suffering from nutrition related diseases unlike the low-income earners who are considered to be consuming and preparing their own meals. However, with current research it’s been proven that binge consumption is across the board and anybody is susceptible to nutrition related diseases (Goode et. Al., 2016). Therefore, it’s important that they have focused on this community of low social status. However, it’s important to note that the problem is not exclusively on the low income earners but also the upper-class citizens. As the authors have indicated the lack of physical activities and the use of alcohol and smoking are among the factors that have contributed to increased cases of obesity in this community. This approach is very appropriate in providing a background understanding that will help in the implementation of the program.
