Healthcare Quality
Introduction
The quality of human services or labor is the most important factor to consider by social insurance associations in order to ensure an effective development. On the same note, medical services assume an important part in nearly every nation around the world. Hence, its quality is something that should be greatly considered by the health stakeholders. The number one service of healthcare facilities across the world is to provide better healthcare services to patients and the community as a whole. However, ensuring quality in the healthcare system calls for a proper consideration of various factors that are geared towards quality improvement in the health sectors. Ensuring the required quality in the healthcare system draws in more patients for getting better treatment that ends up expanding the benefits accrued by health facilities. Therefore, as a quality officer in one of the state’s biggest healthcare facility, it is important to organize for related practices such as designing the quality initiatives of the organization, reducing the healthcare cost while maintaining the quality, and distinguishing between a free market and a single payer in the government system. All the above need to be done with the aim of improving the quality of services delivered in the particular healthcare facility.
Quality Initiatives of the Organization
The Quality Initiatives are vital factors that need to be considered in any social insurance association for quality purposes. The main view of the quality initiatives is to expand on the current work of a particular social insurance association in order to make it adapt to the long-term quality demands for the sustenance of the organization (Stanton, 2014). In the healthcare sector, the nature of patients’ consideration has been reported to have been reduced in most of the human service associations due to the non-appearance of staff individuals, outdated therapeutic innovations, and lack of required support from the society. To ensure the quality of services in the healthcare facility, the three mentioned targets must be thoroughly enhanced to expand the nature of consideration of patients. To ensure this, the following three quality initiatives can be used.
Enlistment of Skilled Nurses and Training Facility
The initiative would be the most appropriate strategy for enhancing the issue of diminished nature of consideration of patients. The trained attendants would give careful consideration as far as dealing with patients is concerned (Yoder-Wise, 2013). On the other hand, they would ensure appropriate dissemination of patients’ medical information and other critical exercises that can be used to improve the patients’ considerations.
Propelled Medicare Technology
The initiative would ensure the use of technological advancements in ensuring the improvement of the quality of the healthcare system, including the patients’ consideration. Through the technological advancement, various medical machines such as the life-sparing machine would arrive to secure the lives of most patients with complicated medical conditions. Similarly, machines such as the computed Tomography would allow for an intensive examination of the internal organs of the patients to reduce or treat the defected ones and even assist in organ transplant. Consequently, this would have enhanced the diminished patients’ consideration in the healthcare facilities.
Making of a Cultural Accountability
The formation of socially responsible medicinal services would increase the obligation of all the gifted health officers towards improving the patients’ consideration by offering better health services. On the same note, the society of the workers would create certainty and dedication of the health workers by ensuring a thorough working framework aimed at accomplishing a strong consistency in handling the association’s human services quality. A thorough consideration of the social role of the healthcare facility would also adopt the healthcare facility to face the confronting difficulties among workers.
Supporting Factors in the Reduction of Healthcare Cost
Several healthcare components can be implemented by the healthcare facility to ensure a reduction in the healthcare cost, and at the same time, maintaining the required health standards. The components are generally the technologically advanced ways of performing various healthcare tasks that are aimed at easing the tasks by reducing the time, cost and efficiency while reducing the cost. The first component is concerning the data sector in the healthcare facility. Safeguarding and maintaining patients’ medical information has been a major area of concern over many years due to the use of manual information systems among healthcare facilities (Barzi, Mikhail, & Shabot, 2012). However, the efficiency of the data system in the healthcare facility can be improved through adapting the use of Electronic Health Records EHR, which would ensure effective dissemination of the patients’ health information from one health department to another, while maintaining the patients’ privacies. Besides, the EHR would reduce the cost of transmitting the information from the healthcare facility to another in the case when a patient is getting a transfer, since; the system is electronic and therefore, the transmission of information is faster.
On the other hand, the quality of the healthcare services in the healthcare facility can be improved by introducing or adopting the progression of the utilization of data innovation that would assist in enhancing the cost viability includin...
