Banner Healthcare
Banner Health is a non-profit healthcare organization in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The business has over 30 healthcare facilities across six facilities like in-home care programs and family health clinics services. Healthcare started its services in 1999 by merging Samaritan Health Systems and Lutheran Health Systems, which serves over 500,000 users (Banner Health, 2020). The healthcare assists in meeting medical and emergency healthcare costs and services like chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, heart transplantation, obstetrician services, brain, medical services, and other emergency services all under one roof. The net earnings of the business in 2020 were $586.7 billion. The company has focused on delivering quality healthcare services and establishing measures to deal with common mistakes (Paavola, 2021). The company's ultimate mission is to provide better effective services to communities instead of generating profits. The company reinvests in improving physician services and technologies and maintaining high-quality customer services and better employee packages. The report analyses the organization's overall readiness, issues, and strategic plan recommendations.

The company struggles in implementing a value-based care model, emphasizing meeting healthcare needs across all the service areas. The company values quality services by emphasizing reimbursement models rather than catering to maximum users. By implementing the model, the company would reduce cost, improve efficiency, and serve the best healthcare services. Better healthcare services would be offered by looking at quality and member engagement. Healthcare services would pursue better quality and patient satisfaction through a value-based reimbursement model (Axelsson et al., 2020). The company creates a system to run an effective revenue cycle, where the company would develop ways to reduce costs and improve the level of care provided.
.Healthcare costs are increasing in hospital settings, which puts a significant burden on Banner Healthcare. With this method, the company delivers timely and reliable services to attract more users. The idea is to change the transactional structure framework and understand the organizational responsibility of total care of patients. The company's new focus is now changing the culture from volume to value and testing new ideas in delivering services and meeting end users' demands (Mather & Cummings, 2019). The business is ready to implement the value-based care model to improve the accountability among providers where the service fee depends on the quality of care. The model works on triple aims; 1) better care services, 2) better health, 3) lower cost to care people. Figure 1 shows the difference between value-based care and fee-for-service.
