Assessment Description
The RN to BSN program at Grand Canyon university meets the requirements for clinical competencies as defined by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing education (CCNE) and the American Association of colleges of Nursing (AACN), using nontraditional experiences for practicing nurses. Community health impacts various community activities such as education, safety, life expectancy, to mention a few. Also, it influences the desire to engage in civic activities like voting and recreational activities. Primary prevention is an activity that seeks to lower the possibility of certain diseases. On the flip side, infection is the development and generation of pathogens such as bacteria that are rarely in the human body (CDC, 2019). Generally, hand washing is the first prevention measure to avoid pathogens and infections. Research indicates that 30% of people do not practice handwashing, while 50% wash their hands properly. Also, approximately 70% of people do not wash their hands after using a toilet. Handwashing reduces diarrhea infections by 23-40% (CDC, 2020). Diarrhea weakens the body’s immunity by 58%, posing a substantial threat to individuals’ health.

Behavioral theory is a perfect theory since it influences how participants react and behave while learning.
