Population More Vulnerable to UTIs
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) refer to disease in any region of the urinary system. The urinary tract comprises the kidney, bladder, ureter, and urethra. The majority of the infections affect the lower urinary tract. Generally, women are more likely to get infected with UTIs than men (Mayo Clinic, 2019).
