The student may also choose to work with an interprofessional collaborative team.
Students should select a topic that aligns to their area of interest as well as the clinical practice setting in which practice hours are completed.

The main factor to focus on in the discussion for the capstone project is the shortage of nursing staff in hospitals. Hospitals are essential environments that help in treating patients. However, today, there are challenges in that the number of patients is rising while staff numbers are stagnating (Marć et al., 2019). It forces hospital staff members to handle more tasks in their capacity than they are supposed to, leading to job burnout in hospital settings.
