Background
The goal of measuring outcomes after implementing improvements in healthcare provision assists healthcare providers in gauging the effectiveness of new strategies, policies, and technologies. An example of how a healthcare service provider can improve service delivery is through provider education. That involves policies improvement education, training, holding workshops, and exposing the healthcare workers to a platform where they can enhance their skills for better service provision (Tinker, 2018). When dealing with sexually transmitted infections, and in particular syphilis, providing education regarding syphilis screening can be carried out during the third trimester. There are various measurable outcomes that can be used to gauge success over three months. They include safety for care, the effectiveness of care, readmissions, patient experience, and mortality.
