Dissemination of information that involves a new practice or a change in current practice, is a complex process that always involves some barriers. As you explore strategies that would work best in your clinical area, think about your stakeholders, the time required of staff to engage in the education and of course, the expense!

Developing a Culture of Evidence-Based Practice
Evidence-based practice is an essential competency of professional nursing and a fundamental element of every healthcare organization. It refers to the problem-solving approach to healthcare provision that incorporates best evidence from rigorous studies, patient care data, as well as patient preferences and values (Melnyk et al., 2011). Consequently, disseminating results from EBP projects and their implementation in practice is the final and most critical step of the change process (Newhouse et al., 2007). Sharing EBP project results at the unit or organizational level through poster presentations, podium presentations, and peer-reviewed journals enhances nursing staff’s knowledge and promote practice change in various healthcare settings (Miller, 2007). Furthermore, when EBP is delivered in the context of a supportive organizational culture, the best patient outcomes along with the highest quality of care can be attained (Gallagher-Ford et al., 2011). This essay will outline the dissemination strategy used to communicate EBP to all nurses working at my healthcare organization.
The poster presentation method will disseminate EBP findings to all nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in my organization to apply and replicate the practice innovation in different settings. Poster presentations are a popular and legitimate format for disseminating EBP project results because of their efficiency in communicating ideas and information using a combination of text and visuals. Moreover, a poster presentation is an economical, easy, visual, and interactive manner of communicating EBP information and results to nursing staff in an organization (Redulla, 2021). Poster presentations allow the author to speak informally and interact with recipients, facilitating a greater exchange of best practice concepts than oral presentations. For the dissemination strategy to be successful, time and resources will be put into the design and production of the poster.
