Health care: right or privilege?

Healthcare: a Right or a Privilege Name: Institution: Healthcare can be termed as the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and ailments. It also includes prevention of diseases through immunization and observing other health measures to curb diseases. The health measures often depend on a country`s policies and they therefore vary. According to Sen. Bernie Sanders, HealthCare is a fundamental right to every human being and should be provided freely. There are reasons as to why healthcare is branded a right as opposed to it being a privilege (Kennedy, 2009). Firstly, everywhere there is life, there is need for healthcare since life is supported by good health. In a country where little or no interest has been shown to healthcare, people often suffer from preventable diseases and often results to deaths.
