In a health care organization, Strategic planning is an entirely valid and fundamental tool for outlining all types of organization’s functions. The organizational point at which the strategic planning procedure is relevant depends on the size of the unit, the complexity of duties, and the different types of the services offered. A cardiology department or an electrophysiology unit can be a good example of an appropriate level, as long as their plans are in line with other plans at advanced levels. The overall leader of each unit is responsible for promoting the planning process, a primary and a mandatory part of his or her role. The general process of a strategic planning must be programmable, systematic, rational, and holistic and integrates the short, and long-term medium, allowing the healthcare organization to focus on important and lasting realizations for the future. A strategic plan for a health organization will emphasize various factors to ensure its smooth transition for the years before, now and decades to come. Therefore, to meet the required needs of its citizens, planning concerning network growth, nurse staffing, resource management, and inpatient satisfaction must be factored into the strategic plan.
First, most American health care organizations and their health executives are seriously enhancing their efficacy and outreach of their health networks (Senić & Marinković, 2012). They achieve this by coordinating and restructuring their schemes so that their organizations can become an economically and politically powerful oligopoly or a regulated monopoly. When the media initially announce the formation of these bodies, they are reported to be tools to enhance access, social equity and quality of health care, at friendly costs. Since an increasing number of these health networks are currently experiencing fiscal, cultural and other difficulties, it is critical to study the strategic plan of these Health Care Organizations. Some certain economic difficulties. At that time, enhancing access to health care and reducing costs will become more challenging issues for health networks. These organizations, therefore, may then need to become more responsive to consumer pressures as the Americans shift their political reactiveness from the current quasi-competitive to a more quasi-regulatory position. Besides, the use of global budgetary targets is discussed as an option in the United States to reduce costs, an approach used in nearly all other western industrialized nations.
