Flexibility is a key phenomenon that is considered for effective movement. It refers to the ability of joints to move freely without any significant restriction. Flexibility varies from one individual to another and is impacted by different elements. Flexibility is defined by body health and joints. Most flexible individuals always have proper health; however, those who are not flexible indicate signs of body complexities such as obesity. The reflection is based on key aspects I have learned about my flexibility using the theoretical terms and justification.
Flexibility is a key aspect that every individual advocates for. I learned that flexibility is based on muscle strength. According to Sharkey & Gaskill (2013), muscle strength is the maximum muscle force that can sustain different pressure elements. I noted that I must consider different activities that promote muscle endurance for me to be flexible. Besides, flexibility should be based not only on physical activity but also on specific physical activities that consider body health and transformations. Flexibility can also be defined as one's ability to persuade, bend and change. I can assume that I am flexible since I can do any kind of work as long as I want to. Therefore, my flexibility is based on different elements, such as the type of work and engagement that I embrace. Inflexible people may not do all the activities they wish due to the inability of the muscle to sustain their pressures.
