What brought you to the program, what was a problem your identified track (Educator, Executive, LNC, Dual degree) enabled you to explore?
In that exploration, what have you identified as challenges and how did your research in those challenges propose resolutions and next steps?

MSN Leadership Program
Career development and job satisfaction are essential aspects of every professional (Yarbrough et al., 2017). Learning is a continuous process that takes place in learning institutions and also in workplaces. I joined the MSN program because I wanted to expand my professional knowledge. I want to broaden my career mobility and expand opportunities as a nurse. I have ambitions of working away from the country at some point in my career time. It is a professional ambition that necessitates more knowledge, especially on international nursing standards. This will help me work in any country abroad without any problems or without undergoing another training to catch up with the said countries' standards. Waddell et al. (2015) say that most people lose lifetime opportunities because they do not explore every learning need before finally venturing into full-time work. I did not want to fall victim to the same. Hence, I had to acquire the necessary knowledge through formal learning to widen my mobility and opportunities.
Problem
The problem that my learning track helped me to explore is why some nurses fail to perform to the level that is expected of them, as provided by their training. It is a problem that limits the nurses' mobility and makes them lose any unique opportunities that come their way. My track is executive because I wanted to concentrate on a more significant role that makes me the best work anywhere in the world. Jackson & Wilton (2017) argue that we often lose our life chances because we fail to explore all professional requirements. It is an influence that encourages me always to want to get the best before pursuing an opportunity. It is also a way of making me confident to face any professional challenges on the way when chasing better opportunities in life. My identified track, executive, enabled me to explore why people fail to secure professional opportunities thoroughly; they fail to explore all. It takes to be well prepared for professional mobility and opportunities.
Challenges
There are many challenges that people undergo in their professions. These challenges make them fail to explore the necessary resources for professional prosperity (Hafsteinsdóttir et al., 2017). My research revealed some underlying reasons for the challenges that we often go through that make us fail to expand our career mobility and opportunities. Everybody has a unique reason for not doing what they should do. Some families are wealthy and resort to corrupting learning institutions to get their degrees. These kinds of short cuts are dangerous because they endanger patients' lives and make us lose open opportunities when we cannot prove.
Other families live basic life where they can only afford basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing. It becomes challenging for members of such families to pursue the best education that exists. Poverty is a challenge in every country and region, but it is also essential that anyone can beat it. Hafsteinsdóttir et al. (2017) assert that people from such low backgrounds are often smart to overcome poverty. It is a fight that needs money as the tools of war. Therefore, this is one of the reasons people fail to broaden their professional opportunities and mobility. Lack of money means we cannot pay for tuition fees. We end up giving up, thus missing out on learning the necessary knowledge and skills needed to secure education. My situation was the same, but I squeezed the lemon and made lemonade out of it. I come from a humble background where the money is sometimes missing or insufficient to access some services. After a real struggle to attain my undergraduate degree, I secured a low paying casual job that helped me finance my MSN. Therefore, as much as poverty is a challenge, we should be smart and counter it wisely.
People face many challenges, but it is only necessary not to lose hope but to work towards fixing them. People from wealthy families should realize that it is not acceptable to cheat practical professions like nursing. They should sweat for it because it will help them in their future practice as nurses.
