Having evidence to back up the information in research is essential because it promotes credibility and offers convincing enough. This method combines all the available evidence that is essential to improving patient outcome and acts as a guide to nursing care (Mabbott, 2011). This is paramount because it assists the nurses to approach issues concerning healthcare with an evaluative and qualitative approach.
