A research study helps examine the importance of a specific survey in solving a given problem by scientific methods. The study methods used should ensure that solving the problem positively impacts society and narrows down to benefit the researchers. This paper evaluates the difference between two research methods, namely, case-control and cross-sectional study.
A case-control is an observational study used to compare two groups, like in the case of a disease. For example, the study examines the sick versus healthy people to tell the outcome and the risk probabilities within a population.
