In addition to these resources, a thriving hospital must establish a collaborative culture and a strong leadership structure for effective communication and adopt modern technology to allow smooth operation. Healthcare professionals should also build a therapeutic relationship to enrich the patients’ experiences. The above factors are the cornerstone for patient and employee satisfaction in healthcare. The Caring Angel Hospital lacks most of these aspects. That is which is why the hospital is not performing well. As a senior consultant assigned to the hospital, it is crucial to evaluate the primary challenges faced in the facility and propose significant steps that the hospital could take to achieve the following goals:
Improve the Quality of Care
From the scenario, Caring Angel Hospital lacks quality care due to a lack of effective communication, lack of teamwork or collaboration, poor relationship between employees and patients, and poor infrastructure. The hospital should foster a collaborative environment to allow employees to work as a team rather than individually. This can be done by setting up team-building activities, encouraging clear, frequent communication, and giving employees autonomy in decision-making.
