Poor daily life conditions disproportionately affect the Hispanics. Structural and social position factors like cultural values, macroeconomics, education, income, social support system, occupation, and health series shape their daily conditions. These factors exert health effects on people (Velasco-Mondragon, Jimenez, Palladino-Davis et al., 2016).
A significant number of people of the Hispanics origin are Roman Catholics. The influence of their spiritual and religious beliefs on illness, health, and daily life play an important role in understanding the concept of health of the Hispanic. For instance, the Catholic saints have religious roles that shape their healthcare process. There are saints responsible for different types of diseases such as cancer, infertility, arthritis or rheumatism, chronic illness, and bodily ills. Church and faith are powerful sources of strength and hope in the Hispanic society more so in times of sickness (Perreira, Marchante, Schwartz et al, 2019).
