Mark (not his name) is seventy-five years old and is currently admitted at the Faith Nursing home. His wife Mary (not her name), died on 10th April 2009, from breast cancer. Mark, a retired civil servant had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in the year 2010 which was later removed in 2011. Before coming to the Faith Nursing Home, he had been living with his last-born son, Kevin, and his wife, Jane. At the time, Jane was pregnant with their first born and as such she stayed at home and helped taking care of Mark. Other than being incontinent, he also suffers arthritis and thus uses a wheel chair to move around (A Place for Mom, 2017).
