Construction Consultant
The recent growth of the construction industry has increased the demand for construction consultants. Construction consultancy is a significant area in the building sector as it plays a vital role in setting up standard projects. A construction consultant is a professional hired to provide expertise toward successful and timely project completion (Wen et al., 2017). They possess specialized skills and experience to manage construction projects from idea to completion (Nikumbh & Pimplikar, 2014). These individuals work with other construction professionals like site engineers, architects, building contractors, and project managers for successful planning, execution, and completion of the project (Wen et al., 2017). They are tasked with evaluating the building costs and contracts for projects, providing general and technical assistance, and assessing environmental issues and potential site hazards.

Additionally, construction consultants are required to determine regulatory issues such as worksite approvals. In this context, they advise the clients to obtain specific documentation such as building permits and other approval documents.
Finally, consultants are required to oversee the project. Oversight is one of the primary duties of these professionals. They play the role of project managers. During the construction process, consultants are expected to oversee the project from the beginning to the end, provide expertise to the contractors (Nikumbh & Pimplikar, 2014), and work with other construction personnel to ensure the timely completion of the work within the budgeted cost.

Monday.com is a cloud-based platform where users create workflow apps to run their processes, projects, and daily work. Buildertrend is the leading cloud-based software trusted by homebuilders, construction consultants, remodelers, and specialty contractors (Pham, 2016). It helps construction professionals build more projects while minimizing delays, eradicating communication errors, and increas...
