Title Your Name Subject and Section Professor’s Name Date As the Director of Staff Development for an educational organization, a comprehensive induction program plays a vital role in the transition process; therefore, it is necessary to understand the importance of a thorough induction program in acclimatizing new employees. Onboarding, also known as induction, is the process of integrating the new hires into an organization (Brown et al., 2020; Rebore, 2015; Wilcoxen et al., 2021). It entails orientation on the company culture, policies procedures, and expectations. This also involves orientation on the company policies, job-specific duties, and acquainting them to the important stakeholders (Rebore, 2015).
