With the growth of their age, young people acquire some skills to manipulate art items like pencils, brushes, and scissors. They are likely to use more significant, less refined movements initially because the child's motor skills are not as sophisticated, and as the child becomes more accomplished, they will gradually use finer movements. It is a natural progression based on their physical development as coordination and strength in their hands and fingers are evident and, therefore, crucial for their artistic talent. Cognitive development is another cornerstone that defines a child's art trajectory. Self-orientation, as children develop advanced thinking, is characterized by a growing ability to think symbolically and their ability to understand abstract concepts, reflected in the artwork (Ardoin & Bowers, 2020). For instance, a child in the early development stage may draw circles, but with cognitive growth, they now become other objects, people, or events in their context. With the growth of their brain's capacity to think and solve problems, children also gain better skills in perceiving and comprehending the world through art, meaning that artistic activities are not merely creative pastimes but are also crucial for cognitive development. Several factors, such as physical, emotional, or surrounding factors, concern a child's artistic behavior and developing art skills.
