Summary of the Author’s Position:
Human beings have for the last 80 years fulfilled the principle obligation of equal educational opportunity for all but only in terms of quantity. Adler believes that now is the time that human beings should achieve and fulfil the obligation is qualitative terms by adopting a completely on-track school system where all learners are given the same kind of schooling at different levels of education (Adler, 1984). Adler warrants his claims to the argument that children have differences in their capacities to grasp information and learn as well as general difference in their environments and backgrounds. Therefore, in order to prevent these differences from escalating much in to the life of a child, essentially, Adler claims that there should a program or curriculum of pre-school preparation that runs for a period not exceeding two years.
