The current safety resources at SCAD include Emergency Services, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Management, Residential Safety Information and Safety and Emergency Information. The services offered by the SCAD security office include maintaining a safe learning environment for the students where the risk of harm is eliminated. The office also passes safety information to students in the college.
SCAD has implemented a new security tool this year. What is it called and what is the purpose of this tool?
SCAD has implemented a tool known as life safe app. The app is available at the app store and the Google play. The app converts the student’s mobile phones into a personal security gadget where they can comfortably communicate with the security officials using their mobile phones. The purpose of the app is to allow students to make emergency calls in case they are in danger or at the risk of harm. It is also aimed at allowing students to report suspicious activities around the college and it is moreover, purposed to allow students to receive safety alerts and information from security officers.
