Research Reflection Your Name Course and Section Professor's Name June 11, 2024 In my past work on number-based and detailed study ways, I made clear the need to pick methods and plans that fit the study goals. My number work showed how using numbers and stats can test ideas well, look into connections, and guess outcomes. The set method of number studies ensures dependability and wide use, which is critical for research to draw broad findings from big groups. In contrast, my deep look into how digital skills are taught showed how flexible and rich studying in detail can be. Each method, like case studies, basic theory, studying cultures and stories, looking at experiences, and looking into history, was picked to dive into different sides of digital skills. How these deep study methods match their plans lets us fully grasp the topic, catching the complex and specific details that counting and measuring might miss. Building from these insights, my current research focuses on how teachers' philosophies about teaching and learning shape their engagement with digital technologies in the classroom. This focal topic requires a mixed-method approach as I bring together the strengths of quantitative and qualitative research. With this, the intent is to develop a complete understanding of the factors that shape the integration of technology in teaching and learning and identify and problematize the overarching patterns against the nuanced, context-specific insights. Creswell (2014) argues that we should get as much information as possible to know why something happens, so my method involves looking at general trends and specific details. Consistency in Language To ensure that all my papers were uniform in language, I returned to the problem statement, purpose statement, and research questions in every work I did. This helps maintain attention and makes the study understandable. For example, when dealing with quantitative research, I state what needs to be solved clearly, show where it lies, and then give aims through my objective before asking any question that directly addresses these areas. Also, when doing qualitative research, different designs had problems, but they had similar ones under investigation; thus, they shared points such as objectives, among others. While working on my current study about how digital technologies can be integrated into teaching methods effectively, I made sure that the same terms were employed consistently when referring to teacher's philosophies or beliefs, challenges at the school level, and leadership in institutions juxtaposing these descriptions throughout the document for easy understanding (Mertens, 2015).
