(My future career in education: As a global education leader, I aim to start an overseas education consulting firm to help institutions and individual students in their studies abroad. Ryan (2011) notes that the influx of international students in universities in first-world countries like the United States and European countries has brought many challenges and opportunities to be explored. My firm will view international students as “assets” by providing transcultural learning and communication opportunities. The firm will inform learning institutions about taking advantage of student cohorts to benefit home students, international students, and staff (Ryan, 2011). An articulated policy promotes improved standards in schools since teachers and students clearly understand what is expected from them. In today’s society, policies solve educational and societal problems by offering a framework that offers protection and guidelines that promote fairness. The policies offer inclusive and equitable guidelines, thus combating discriminatory attitudes and achieving positive outcomes (Ainscow, 2020). Global education policymaking will positively impact the educational system by implementing policies that identify the gaps and promote better learning outcomes. According to the World Bank (2019), global education policies will measure indicators for quality service delivery, thus improving learning outcomes.
